| A new round of funding is now available for community groups |
|

My Connected Community (mc˛) is part of the Victorian Government's
Connecting Communities: the second wave ensuring the benefits of online
technologies are shared across the entire Victorian community. The key objective
is to stimulate the development of online groups of interest within Victoria.
The Victorian Government invites applications from community
organisations for My Connected Community funding to establish online groups
amongst their members and wider population. This may include senior Victorians
(including seniors from non-English speaking backgrounds), recent migrants,
unemployed Victorians and those outside the education system and workforce
(including disadvantaged youth) and people with a disability.
Two levels
of funding are available under the program: Level 2 ($10,000) and Level 3
($30,000).
All successful projects will be funded for 2 years.
Successful applicants in the My Connected Community funding round will
be invited to express interest in participating in the webcam technology pilot
project . The pilot is anticipated to be held in May 2005.
Closing
date for applications is 4.00pm, Thursday 10 February 2005.
Visit the mc2 website for
information on how to apply. Note: |
