NDS is the national industry association for disability services, representing over 600 not-for-profit organisations. Collectively, our members operate several thousand services for Australians with all types of disability. NDS’s members range in size from small support groups to large multi-service organisations, and are located in every State and Territory across Australia.

National Ethnic Disability Alliance
Promoting the rights of people from non-English speaking backgrounds with disabilities throughout Australia NEDA is a national disability consumer organisation which maintains a primary focus on issues affecting people from a non-English speaking background with disabilities . This incorporates a dual emphasis on: disability within the context of NESB communities; and the impact of a non-English speaking background on the person with a disability, including their access to appropriate services and supports.
Physical Disability Council of Australia
The Physical Disability Council of Australia (PDCA) believes that all people with physical disabilities should be able to participate in society as Australian Citizens to the same extent as the rest of the community. This requires POWER and an accessible SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE. The role of PDCA is to inform all levels of Government, the business sector and the Australian community of the needs of people with a physical disability and to lobby for change as necessary. Their aim is by 2010 the needs of people with a physical disability will be met in all Commonwealth Government legislation, policies, services and programs and in all areas of the private sector and the community of Australia, enabling full participation.
