Title:ACE Annual Disability Employment Network Conference - Canberra, Australia
Category:Conference
Location:http://www.acenational.org.au/
Description:

National Convention Centre
Canberra, Australia
4th, 5th & 6th June

The ACE Conference is an important annual event for the Disability Employment Network. As part of its ongoing commitment to industry development and growth, ACE aims to provide delegates with opportunities to think, question and respond to a range of critical industry issues in ways that are meaningful to their organisations, jobseekers with disability and the industry more broadly.

This year's conference program has been strongly informed by feedback received from Conference 2007 participants. Given the broad range of topics to be covered, this year there will be no overarching theme, with sessions focusing on the following areas;

  • Sustainability: of practice, sector development and growth
  • Perspectives and policy directions from the new Rudd Government
  • Managing and using systems and technology to best advantage
  • Working with people with high support needs
  • Innovative job search and job creation strategies
  • Staff retention strategies
  • And more!
