ATMac covers all Apple products with a slant towards disability. We have an interest in users with a disability, adaptive and assistive technology, and making accessible programs and content. We aim to cover all Apple products including all Mac OS X computers - the iMac, MacBook, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, and older models; the iPod range; the iPhone and iPod Touch; and other products such as the Apple TV and Apple Remote Control. As well as people with a disability and assistive technology users, our audience includes teachers and educators, supporters such as parents and families of AT users, content producers, and application developers.

We are people with hearing loss too. We strive to offer all of the best in technology and knowledge. Inside our store, you will find FM systems, infrared systems, loop systems, vibrating and flashing alerts, Hearing aid maintenance, information about complying with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and daily living aids. We offer devices that help you even if you don't use hearing aids. You'll also find articles and pamphlets that speak about living with a hearing loss. In fact we offer a paper on how to successfully be fitted with hearing aids. Best of all, we promote telecoil technology!

Adaptive Technology refers to any product or software program that has been developed or modified to make it accessible for the blind and vision impaired. This category of equipment is generally so specialised that it is not available from mainstream retail outlets. It could include something as simple as a talking calculator through to an ultra sophisticated Braille terminal with refreshable Braille cells. In short, any mechanical, electrical or computerised product specifically designed for a vision impaired person.
