The Australian Constitution

ONE NATION is a political party representing the people of Australia who are concerned that their will is being ignored by the two party system. One Nation is committed to Australian sovereignty, the Constitution and Government of the people by the people for the people.  Based on this view  we have developed objectives and policies reflecting the will of the people. Our role as a political party is to select and recommend to the people, candidates that we feel reflect our objectives and policies and are worthy of representing them and their will as dedicated  parliamentary representatives.

WHO OWNS WATER?

The Commonwealth's grab to control water proves that Victoria’s decision to abstain from inclusion is the right one.  South Australia’s Mike Rann should have stood his ground too!  The states have no right to give up the people’s constitutional guaranteed right to a referendum on such an important issue.

For me, it is the long-term problems that could arise by giving up our control to the commonwealth.  Water belongs to the people who are in turn the employers of the government!  Water infrastructure has been in decline for over 30 years and as millions of dollars are squandered and the inaction of continuing talk fests go on, many see the federal government’s grab for our water rights a chance for change and we will receive change, but will it be for the better?

I would rather see better co-operation by the states and more vision for our future by the same.  This way water would remain ours. What people may not realise is that the big money makers and shakers of the world are in a grab for raw minerals to overcome a collapsing derivatives market and control of essential services is on the agenda, particularly water.  While the states maintain our rights, control by these multinational players is hard to achieve.  But if, or should I say when the commonwealth gains control, it will not take them long before these masters of manipulation take control of our water with only profit in mind. Where will that leave us?  Particularly our farmers, and what will be the true cost to all Australians if water is no longer controlled for our benefit but for the profit of a few.

Need I even answer that remark!  My spine chilled when I heard the two greatest opponents of the commonwealth take over of our rights, both retired suddenly last week.  Was this the last step towards the removal of our constitutional rights?  I think so!  Now it is only a matter of when it occurs.  Legislation has already been passed giving ownership of rain that falls onto your property to the state.  So I say this, “start hiding your rainwater tanks and growing your own vegetables because we have seen what happens when a monopoly has control.  As seen with fuel and minerals.  We must demand our rights to a referendum now.  We must ask for all the information, ensure honest and open debate on such an important issue and if the commonwealth prevails we must demand that water remains owned by the people and never sold to the highest bidder!”

Global warming Eh?
Hereunder is a petition of 17000 well qualified scientists who say its  rubbish!

Pass it on to your friends and your MP's with your request that this data be raised in Parliament and made public and exercise your political right to demand  their explanation of why they are supporting Global Warming  (That is if they do) Obviously John Howard was right when he said Australia should not sign the Kyoto Protocol

http://www.oism.org/pproject/s33p357.htm

This should sober up all those who have been convinced by the snake oil salesmen of global warming. "

Global Warming Petition

We urge the Australian and U.S. Governments to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on "greenhouse" gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural environment of the Earth.

Petition Project

During the past several years, more than 17,100 basic and applied American scientists, two-thirds with advanced degrees, have signed the Global Warming Petition.

Signatories of this petition so far include 2,660 physicists, geophysicists, climatologists, meteorologists, oceanographers, and environmental scientists (select this link for a listing of these individuals) who are especially well qualified to evaluate the effects of carbon dioxide on the Earth's atmosphere and climate.

Signatories of this petition also include 5,017 scientists whose fields of specialization in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and other life sciences (select this link for a listing of these individuals) make them especially well qualified to evaluate the effects of carbon dioxide upon the Earth's plant and animal life.

Nearly all of the initial 17,100 scientist signatories have technical training suitable for the evaluation of the relevant research data, and many are trained in related fields. In addition to these 17,100, approximately 2,400 individuals have signed the petition who are trained in fields other than science or whose field of specialization was not specified on their returned petition.

Of the 19,700 signatures that the project has received in total so far, 17,800 have been independently verified and the other 1,900 have not yet been independently verified. Of those signatories holding the degree of PhD, 95% have now been independently verified.

The costs of this petition project have been paid entirely by private donations. No industrial funding or money from sources within the coal, oil, natural gas or related industries has been utilized. The petition's organizers, who include some faculty members and staff of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, do not otherwise receive funds from such sources. The Institute itself has no such funding. Also, no funds of tax-exempt organizations have been used for this project.

The signatures and the text of the petition stand alone and speak for themselves. These scientists have signed this specific document. They are not associated with any particular organization. Their signatures represent a strong statement about this important issue by many of the best scientific minds in the United States.

This project is titled "Petition Project" and uses a mailing address of its own because the organizers desired an independent, individual opinion from each scientist based on the scientific issues involved - without any implied endorsements of individuals, groups, or institutions. The remainder of the initial signatories and all new signatories will be added to these lists as data entry is completed.
